  1. Woo-Hoo!! We got the win… Really that is all that matters in the long run… Would have been nice to get Kersh the win.

Anyhow, a win is a win. First Place Baby!!!!

  2. Quite a game last night. Any truth to a rumor all that whiffing last night pushed a thunderstorm into the Milwaukee area early this morning?
I too wonder why the Dodgers seem to struggle offensively when Kershaw pitches.
Is it just me or does anyone else look at Rich Hill as if he is pitching in slow motion?

    • Your boy Hill was rather mediocre. Wasn’t terrible as he only gave up 2 earned runs in 4 innings…… But not what you expect from a guy you signed to be the #2 starter.. Maybe it will get better…

      • Yeah. I can’t for the life of me see what they wanted with another soft tossing lefty who’s had what amounts to maybe one good season in his whole mediocre career. And now he can’t even find the strike zone half the time.

  3. Joc needs to go back and spend some considerable time back at AAA to get back the swing and discipline that brought him to the majors in the first place. He’s not going to recover that by being a part time player with the Dodgers.

  4. Even though we won this game and, I’m glad we did. Hatcher, once again, put us in the position of an unacceptable loss! I hope Dave has finally learned his lesson. Never put that hack in a game unless it’s a mop up role. In fact, I would not shed a tear if I NEVER SAW HIM IN A GAME AGAIN!

    • I thought about you, Tru, after Hatcher failed to come through. In fact every time he does mess up, but I have to say, as a whole the bullpen, including Hatcher is doing a marvelous job. Yesterday (Saturday) may be somewhat of an exception..

  5. It’s always scary when Hatcher is in. I thought yesterday’s game was a goner, but the bats pulled it out. Although the bats did pick up Kershaw recently, I’d like to see them give Kershaw more support more often and let him pitch with a lead.

  6. I supppse we just have to get used to this Dodger team as it is. One day they look unbeatable and exciting while the next day they look helpless and unwatchable. Let’s hope for more of the exciting days.

  7. Freaking shutout by Zach Davies with his +5 era. Pretty sad effort by the offense today. But, like Griz mentioned, we took the series. And, on the road.

I’m ready for Turner to get back.

  8. Didn’t take in the game. Was in Greenwich Village enjoying the sights in the light rain. I did check in on the game from time to time, in some of the bars.

  9. well, 2 of 3 from a first place team, not bad. But our SP needs to go deeper, There must some radar on acquiring/ Trade for solid arm that can go 7 innings, because currently this is not a play off ready starting rotation.
