Joc Jack

Joc-Pederson6

Joc Pederson has been hitting some home runs lately.  This really helps the team offense, since adding one more player to the power potentials makes the whole lineup more dangerous.

Since Joc came back from his concussion disabled list time, he has hit 6 home runs in 55 at-bats.  That’s just a Bellinger-esque 9.2 at bats per home run.

Joc Jack is hitting a very healthy .297/.426/.709/1.136 in the month of June.  That’ll play.

Angels – Dodgers in the O.C.

Tonight, the Freeway Series moves to Anaheim.  That’s in Orange County.  It’s not in Los Angeles.  It’s not even in Los Angeles County.  It’s Anaheim.  So call yourselves the California Angels or the Anaheim Angels, already.  Or the Orange Angels, if you wish.

Tonight Hyun-Jin Ryu goes up against Alex Meyer.  Will Corey Seager or Justin Turner or Yasiel Puig be ready for this one?  We’ll just have to wait for the lineup to come out.

Joc Pederson seems to be ready.  He’s been on an offensive tear of late.  Of course, Cody Bombay Bellinger is always ready.

Big Rockies Series

Every time the Dodgers travel to Denver, we wonder how the Dodgers will outhit the Rockies at the mile-high stadium.  But this time, the Rockies have to be wondering whether they can keep up with the Dodgers’ three home run per game pace.

Mt. Everest Was Once A Hill

“It’s awesome to see the team doing well,” he [Hill] said. “We’ve gone 10-1. But I look at that and see that one loss and think, ‘That was me’ (laughs). … You don’t want to walk around with such a poopy diaper all the time. Be optimistic. I’ve caught myself a couple times this year.”

Hill seemed to have lost his focus last time out after allowing his first runner. Until that moment he looked pretty solid.
