Another Lefty

lefty_corbin

Here we go again.  The Dodgers face Lefty Corbin, aka Patrick Corbin, tonight at 6:10 pm PDT/9:10 EDT.  Any guesses as to who will be in the lineup?  Any chance the Dodgers will get more than five hits off Lefty?

Kenta Maeda will be on the mound first, but does that really matter when the opposition is pitching Lefty?

  1. Joc-less lineup:

    1. Logan Forsythe (R) 2B
    2. Corey Seager (L) SS
    3. Justin Turner (R) 3B
    4. Yasiel Puig (R) RF
    5. Adrian Gonzalez (L) 1B
    6. Trayce Thompson (R) CF
    7. Enrique Hernandez (R) LF
    8. Austin Barnes (R) C
    9. Kenta Maeda (R) P

The return of Mr. .000 Thompson. With him and Kike, that’s two major holes in this lineup.

  2. Tired of this righty/ lefty crap we’re playing. Guys at the major league level should be able to hit pitching from their own side – if they can’t, they don’t belong in the majors, with very few exceptions. And we certainly don’t seem to have any of those deserving exceptions.

  3. Hitting against lefties: Forsythe .353, Seager .222, Turner .389, Puig .000 (0-15), Gonzalez .250, Grandal .154

Geez Puig sticks out like a sore thumb.

  4. Maeda is such a competitor, such a hard-nosed athlete, such a gritty player!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? If this guy can’t pitch beyond the fourth, then throw him the bullpen for the rest of his career.

  5. Good bullpen win last night, especially from Wood. Mr. Blister is supposed to be good to go today, which is why Wood was available.

Puig is an enigma for us, at least that’s how I see him. A few more three run homers might get him some more love than he’s getting right now. That and learn a few base running basics.
