It’s the last game of the season against the Chicago Cubs.  Let’s make it a good contest and let’s make it a Dodgers win.  We may meet again in the post season this year.

  2. I didn’t expect that score today either. What this series shows us is the Dodgers can play with anyone and have a good chance to win. Though each of these three could have gone either way, the Dodgers took two of three from the team with the best record in MLB. Add the fact that our rotation wasn’t set up to our advantage just reinforces the fact our guys can compete and win.

  3. Somehow this team seems to eek out victories when they are clearly a huge underdog. Even if the boys had trouble offensively, they still took two of three from an elite team with better starting pitching. And with a little bit of luck and better hitting with runners in scoring position they might have had a sweep. Still a lot of work to do and I am sure Roberts will remind anyone who needs it that these wins mean something but unless the effort continues, they won’t mean anything. Hopefully the Dodgers will not have a letdown in Colorado.

  4. The last time we played the Rocks their pitchers were doing a good job and they had wild card aspirations. They’ve faded since then, but they just took a series from Washington and are 5-5 in their last 10 games. As we already know, they’ve got some good hitters. As lbirk says, hopefully there won’t be a let down in Denver. Maeda is going for us tonight, who I saw pitch there in April. Ellis won the game with a dinger, so we will not be seeing that tonight. We get Rocks feed, so I’ll be able to see the games here in the sticks of Utah. Just back from Colorado myself, where you can buy real beer, so it will be fitting to to sip on those and take in the game.
